I’ve recently re-discovered the joys of brewing pour-over filter coffee. Quicker to brew than a stovetop moka pot, easier to clean up after than a French press, cheaper than an espresso machine and pretty damned tasty as well.

Drinking tea has been a constant backdrop to my life for almost as long as I can remember, although I’ve alternated between teabags and proper leaf tea in a teapot depending on how lazy I feel. Lately I’ve been a teapot kind of guy.

Making a cuppa—whether it’s tea or coffee—is an important part of my morning ritual; and of course something to enjoy at other times of the day as well.
